Mike baked this for my husband’s 30th bday. I had come to him with a picture of this cake and requesting a replica. He nailed every little detail. He made sure to give me advice regarding what ingredients to use for the black layer on top so it doesn’t stain our teeth. On the day that I went to pick up the cake, Mike saw me struggling to handle the door and cake simultaneously and he helped me get the cake to my car safely. Absolutely stunning cake as well as delicious. Everyone raved about it! I will be returning to pure sugar inc for all my cakes!
Pure Suger Inc, in my opinion, is the best bakery in town. Chef Mike's cake is an amazing work of tasty art! I order a customized cake from the show "Bluey". My son loved it! Mike Guasta is not only an unbelievably incredible cake artist but also a phenomenal baker. Mike made the most beautiful two tired cake for my daughter’s college graduation party. It was by far the most delicious cake I have ever eaten. The decorations were spot on, even more than I could have ever imagined. He went over and above on everything that we asked for. He also made the most delicious and amazing sugar cookies that we gave out as favors. All of my guests loved everything. I would highly recommend Mike to anyone looking for an exceptional special occasion cake.
One of the best wedding vendors we worked with was Chef Mike at Pure Sugar Inc. From start to finish, he was an absolute pleasure to work with and made all of our wedding cake dreams come true!!! Starting with our cake tasting at Pure Sugar, Chef Mike set up such a wonderful experience for us and each flavor we tried was better than the next! It was nearly impossible to decide. He allowed us to include multiple flavors in our cake which I was thrilled about. When it came time for our wedding, he completely outdid himself. When we asked for a certain ruffle technique to be used on our cake, he went out of his way to practice and make sure that it was exactly what we wanted, and it was!! We got SO many compliments on how stunning the cake was and then on how delicious it was. We have been to so many weddings where the cake is just blah, or no one eats it, etc. People went out of their way to eat this cake because of what a show stopper it was and because of everyone talking about it! My favorite was the lemon blueberry! Thank you Pure Sugar!!!
Our fire department hose company needed a special commemorative cake for our 100th anniversary dinner. The cake required a specific picture to be printed as a decoration. Mike had us come to his bakery and he gave us a full explanation of how he would carefully and patiently accomplish our needs. That session alone gave us the confidence that he would provide what the company wanted. Mike did exactly that and the cake was spectacular; it matched the design he was given. Not only did it look amazing but it was so delicious. Thank you Mike.
I wanted a special beautiful cake for my daughter in laws baby shower. I found Pure Sugar on the internet. Mike made the cutest, most delicious cake. He answered promptly and gave me exactly what i envisioned. The cake was a hit. Mike was very easy to work with .
Found him though a friend at work reached out for my sisters baby shower and was met with great service. He made sure to get all the information to make sure to meet all of our parties needs, met with us to discuss exactly what we wanted, our theme and to make sure what we wanted fit in our budget. He help guide us in knowing how many desserts we needed for our event. Overall everyone raves about the desserts and we were satisfied with the quality.
